2024 Adega Ponte da Barca "Estreia" Vinho Verde, Minho, Portugal

2024 Adega Ponte da Barca "Estreia" Vinho Verde, Minho, Portugal

ABOUT THE WINE

“Estreia,” meaning “debut,” is a youthful blend of traditional Vinho Verde varieties—typically Loureiro, Arinto, and Trajadura—grown in the cool, rain-kissed Minho region of northwest Portugal. Granite-rich soils and Atlantic influence preserve acidity and aromatic freshness.

The 2024 vintage delivered clean, balanced fruit with excellent natural vibrancy. Fermented in stainless steel to retain brightness, the wine is bottled young to capture its fresh, lightly pétillant character. Expect citrus, orchard fruit, and subtle floral notes, with a low alcohol profile and refreshing finish.

ABOUT THE PRODUCER

Adega Ponte da Barca is a cooperative winery founded in 1963 in the Lima subregion of Vinho Verde. Bringing together local growers, the estate focuses on sustainable viticulture and modern winemaking to highlight the region’s indigenous grape varieties. Known for clean, approachable, and value-driven wines, Adega Ponte da Barca captures the bright, coastal personality of Minho in every bottle.
